.Growing up as a child I would watch my Grand Mothers Francis and Mary make all types of delectable desserts from scratch. I wanted to bake just like them. After leaving the Marine Corp and starting my family I began taking cake decorating classes to broaden my knowledge of cake decorating, but something was missing. I wanted to develop my baking skills also. I decided to go to culinary school to gain more knowledge about scratch baking. I obtained my baking certificate from Pikes Peak Community College in Colorado Springs. The time spent in culinary school was a wonderful fulfilling experience . I continue my culinary education by attending gum paste classes taught by Nicholas Lodge and Mercedes Strachwsky. I am also a member of Sugar Coin Academy.
Divine Dessert by Tamara bakes from a commercial kitchen that is fully license , and inspected by the State of Florida. Also Divine Dessert by Tamara obtained ServSafe Manager certification in food safety.
